The predicted salary is between 30282 - 35625 Β£ per year.

This is a part time opportunity for 25.5 hours per week. The pro rata'd salary range is 30,282 to 35,625 per annum.

This role is responsible for working with the Adult Care providers and other stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative initiatives to improve the Adult Care provision for the residents of Essex. It will be focused on creating and delivering projects that provide innovative approaches and solutions to ensure continuous quality improvement from the Adult Care supplier market.

The postholder will need to demonstrate tenacity, drive and influence to identify and deliver efficiencies and service improvements and to actively seek opportunities to champion quality issues in partnership with the Care sector, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a clear understanding of the Adult Care supply base, including risk & quality issues and ensure supplier proposals feasible within cost and budgetary spend constraints which deliver value for money.
  • Develop and implement a robust process for monitoring progress and reporting of quality performance information.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans for spend in conjunction with the Contract Manager & key internal and external stakeholders to ensure they meet functional requirements.
  • Actively contribute to the procurement process for new suppliers to ensure able to deliver against ECC requirements and Service Level Agreements.
  • Undertake research to seek best-practice quality improvement methodology ensuring this is incorporated into relevant quality improvement plans.
  • Build relationships and work in collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure across all providers able to identify opportunities and efficiencies across organisational boundaries.
  • Deliver specific projects and activities to continuously improve the Adult Care provision within Essex to ensure able to evidence sustained and quantifiable change.
About You
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and demonstrable capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards.
  • Proficient experience or working within a social care setting.
  • Knowledge of current Adult Care issues at a local and National level.
  • Proficient experience of delivering successful project management in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, that are clear and persuasive both orally and in writing to a wide range of different individuals and groups, with particular reference to consulting and negotiation skills.
  • Evidence of creative thinking, practical problem-structuring and problem solving skills and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient experience of working in a political environment, skills in understanding and responding to different perspectives and taking a cross organisational perspective.

Please note that the job role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means.
