About the Role
ASC Workforce Coordinator (Internal Workforce Bank) – Secondment, Full Time.
Pay: £28,115 to £33,076 per annum.
Location: Chelmsford.
Working style: Anywhere worker – expectation to attend office 2‑3 days per week.
Fixed‑term contract up to 31 March 2028.
Interviews 8–10 July 2026 via MS Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all activity allocated through the IWB.
- Verify suitability of workers requesting to join the IWB, ensuring exclusion criteria are considered.
- Maintain processes and workflows, oversee performance and data.
- Log complaints and other feedback from service users in accordance with policy.
Accountabilities
- Utilise skills in processing significant amounts of data to deliver high‑quality, accurate reports.
- Maintain standards and meet timescales.
Experience and Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level with an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in a relevant professional area.
- Experience using IT systems, particularly MS applications including Excel.
- Experience utilising a variety of information sources to undertake research and gather relevant information.
- Planned and organised approach, works well in a team environment.
- Experience working within a local authority or other social care setting.
- Good communication, numeracy, and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues as well as other agencies and organisations.
