About the Role
We are recruiting an ICT Business Support & Development Officer to join our ICT Team in Braintree District Council. This is a permanent, full‑time role.
Responsibilities
Provide administration and business support across the ICT service, including administration processes, updating procedures and business planning. Support the management team to deliver projects on time and to budget.
Support the Council's digital transformation by working with the Learning & Development Team to identify, map and deliver ICT training that drives adoption of all Microsoft 365 features, and support the development of the Learning Management System.
Deliver ICT training for Council employees, using a range of technologies and Microsoft products, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and learner engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience working in a local government IT environment.
Experience with Learning Management Systems and delivering or coordinating training.
Excellent business support skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage learners and understanding different learning styles.

Other Information
Salary: £31,284 to £35,721 per annum.
Location: Braintree.
