Basildon Borough Council is seeking a Principal Planner to lead the Planning Service and shape Basildon’s growth. You will manage a varied portfolio of major developments, provide expert planning advice, and drive delivery of infrastructure and regeneration across the Borough.
You will work with developers, landowners and elected Members, prepare robust appeal statements, and mentor planning officers to maintain service excellence while defending the Council's planning decisions through appeals.
