Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Uttlesford District Council in recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative on a temporary basis. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will join a dedicated team in maintaining and improving public spaces and scenery in the Borough.

Responsibilities:

  • Grass Cutting
  • Hedge Trimming
  • Litter Picking
  • Edging and Spraying
  • Following Health & Safety policies

Essential Experience:

  • A good level of English, reading and writing
  • Full, UK Licence with experience in driving a 3.5t vehicle

Desirable Experience:

  • Working in outside spaces
  • Chemical applications
  • Working with horticultural tools such as chain saws and ride-on mowers
