Position: Full Time (37 hours) - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Grade 4, SCP 13-16 - £29,064
We are looking for a full‐time Wellbeing Ambassador to work across the Castlepoint District. Closing – 21st June 2026.
Key Skills and Abilities:- To enthusiastically support the Public Health & Active Wellbeing Manager and the Wellbeing Team in the delivery of customer-focused community-designed health and wellness programmes.
- Proactive at promotion, networking and building professional relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Working on projects or programmes designed to increase activity levels and social connections in a community.
- Customer service / support.
- Community Outreach.
- Communication, promotion and marketing skills.
- Fitness instruction (Desirable but not essential).
- To maximise health and wellness outreach, activity delivery and supporting the co‐designing of community‐led health and wellness sessions.
- To deliver health and wellbeing activities as required.
- To carry out regular health and wellbeing outreach and support to champion physical, mental, and social wellbeing initiatives.
- To have great customer‐focused skills to encourage behavioural change and to build positive relationships with our communities.
- To assist and collaborate with wider Council services and place‐based partnership as required.
- To play a vital role in promoting positive and supportive health and wellbeing environments.
- To carry out robust monitoring and evaluation exercises as required in line with policies and processes.
