Please note this vacancy is available as a fixed term contract opportunity for up to 12 months. There is an expectation for you to attend the office based in Chelmsford, 2 days per week. Who are we? The Essex Pension Fund is one of 86 pension funds which make up the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). The LGPS is the largest defined benefit pension scheme in England and Wales with a fund value of over £340 billion. Our Fund looks after 182,000 Scheme Members, over 740 Employers and is valued at over £11 billion, placing us within the top 10 LGPS funds in the country.
Here are some of the things you would be doing:
- Using a suite of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
- Accountable for understanding, developing and maintaining knowledge of the Local Government Pensions Scheme
- Accountable for delivering an allocated workload to agreed deadlines ensuring quality outputs
- Work collaboratively across the Fund to deliver activities in line with the statutory requirements
