DigiGo, Essex's premier, on-demand shared public transport service, is on the lookout for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team of DigiGo Drivers. We are recruiting for a full time Driver to work a day shift (Start and finish times to be confirmed 37hrs) Monday to Friday on a 1 year fixed term contract.

What You'll Do:
- Fulfil a vital role in high-profile schemes, providing a personable, dependable, and friendly transport service.
- Drive our brand new, electric minibuses, contributing to a sustainable future.
- Get to know your passengers—from students to commuters, older individuals, and those with disabilities.
- Navigate through diverse landscapes, from suburban areas to scenic rural Essex countryside.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend an in-person interview at The Plaza, Great Notley. Specifics around the working patterns can be discussed further with the interview panel.
What We're Looking For:
- Hold a valid driving license with a D1 entitlement—essential for the role.
- Experience working with diverse customer backgrounds and needs.
- Adaptable and flexible with a calm and professional approach.
- Ability to work in a timely manner.
- Proficient in using smartphones and/or tablets.
- Ability to follow navigation and other instructions from the digital app.
- Excellent communication and social skills in a customer-based setting.
If successful, you will require:
- An enhanced DBS check.
- To undertake training in the use of a specific digital app that is integral to the service.
- To undertake mandatory training, including Midas.
- Undertake an Essex County Council Driver’s assessment.
