ESSEX CLEAN SOLUTIONS LTD is recruiting a part-time cleaner / housekeeping operative for temporary, flexible assignments in Rainham and surrounding areas of Essex and East London.
Work may include cleaning offices, retail premises, estate agency premises, warehouse floors and internal walkways, and housekeeping or changeover cleaning in short-let and Airbnb properties. Duties depend on the assignment and may include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning washrooms and kitchens, wiping surfaces, emptying bins, changing linen where required, and reporting completed work or any issues.
Pay: £13 gross per hour through PAYE. This is a zero-hours arrangement: hours are not guaranteed, and each assignment is offered separately with its location, duties, hours and instructions confirmed before acceptance. This is not a guaranteed full-time position.
Applicants should tell us their availability, preferred work areas, relevant experience and ability to travel to local sites. Start dates are subject to completing the required checks and agreeing an assignment. Necessary job-specific instructions and required protective equipment will be provided.
Reliable, punctual and able to follow cleaning and safety instructions; attention to detail; ability to travel to agreed work locations; and the legal right to work in the UK. Previous commercial cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable. Some assignments require a Basic DBS certificate; please tell us whether you already hold one or have an application pending. Do not send identity documents or DBS certificates with your initial application; any required verification will be arranged separately.
