Essex Cares (ECL) is recruiting care assistants into its reablement service, supporting people in their own homes. The work helps customers relearn skills such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation so they can regain independence. Shifts run 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm on contracts of 16 to 30 hours, with every other weekend included, and new staff work alongside a mentor. Applicants need their own car and a full driving licence, and no prior care experience is required; visa sponsorship is not available through direct application.
What the job involves

- Travelling between customer visits around Brentwood and the surrounding area
- Working alongside a mentor on visits until confident in the role
