The Learning and Development Advisor role in ECL comprises the practical delivery side as a facilitator as a primary focus, as well as an advisory role to the business to enable and support development. The Advisors are key ambassadors for ECL by delivering regular values-led inductions to new starters, building individual capability and confidence to deliver excellent person-centred care to our customers.
This role would suit someone who enjoys designing and delivering interactive learning interventions and workshops, and partnering with other teams in the business to meet talent and development needs.
This role will be predominantly be home based, but regularly delivering inductions and workshops in West Sussex, Barking and Dagenham, and Brentwood.
All Learning and Development Advisors are expected to travel to other hubs in the region including the main base in Chelmsford.

Experience of delivering effective and engaging face to face and online learning interventions to groups of people.

Experience of co-ordinating learning and workforce development initiatives in the public, private or voluntary sector.

Experience of all aspects of the learning cycle including assessing needs, setting learning objectives, organising, delivering and evaluating learning initiatives.

Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor content to different learning styles and audiences.

Skilled in using IT systems and packages to facilitate development.

Ability to create face to face and online seminars in partnership with subject matter experts where necessary

What can I expect from the recruitment process?
There will be a two stage interview for this role. Those who are successfully shortlisted will first deliver a 30 minute learning session to some of the Learning and Development team, with an additional 10 minutes for questions from you and the team.
Those who are successful at stage 1, will then move to a second, more Q&A based conversation to look at your experience and skillset, and also allow you to explore if ECL is the right place for you. This will last around 45 minutes.
