Care Assistant β Crawley

Location: Crawley, West Sussex
- Salary: Β£14.46 per hour Monday to Friday; Β£16.46 per hour weekends
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 25, 30 or 35 hour contracts available
- Shifts: 7am β 2.30pm, 5pm β 11pm
- Full driving licence and own vehicle are essential. Travel around Crawley and surrounding area
Mileage: 45p per mile tax-free (business travel)
About You
As a Care Assistant in reablement, you\\\βll play a key role in helping customers regain independence and continue living in their own home. This could include helping clients relearn skills in daily living, such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation. You don\\\βt need previous experience as training is provided.
After induction, you will be assigned a mentor who will work with you until you are confident in the role. With guaranteed contracted hours, we support progression within the company, paying for ongoing specialist training, nationally recognised qualifications and well-being support.
Because this is a community care role, you must have access to a car and a full driving licence with business insurance. We offer a tax-free mileage allowance of 45p per mile and cover time travelling between customers.
We value good workβlife balance. We offer a range of shifts to suit full-time or part-time preferences. You will receive:
- Β£14.46 per hour weekday rate, Β£16.46 per hour weekend rate
- Β£28.92 per hour (double pay on bank holidays)
