About You
As a Care Assistant in reablement, you\’ll be playing a key role in helping our customers regain their independence and continue living in their own home. This could include helping clients to relearn skills in their lives, such as personal care, mobility and preparing meals. You don\’t need to have any previous experience as we will provide you with all the training you need. Once you are trained, you will be assigned a mentor who will take you out to meet some of our customers and work alongside you until you are confident in the role. After your induction training, with guaranteed contracted hours, we will support you to progress within the company, paying for ongoing specialist training, nationally recognised qualifications and well-being support.
As this is a Care Assistant role in the community, we require access to a car and a full driving licence with business insurance. With rising petrol costs, we offer the government maximum tax-free mileage allowance of 45p per mile as well as paying your time travelling between customers. We understand the importance of a good work-life balance and our staff are as important to us as our customers. We offer a range of shifts so whether you want to work full time or part-time, we have a contract that benefits everyone.
