As an Autism Employment Consultant, you’ll be key in ensuring individuals with autism are supported into paid employment. Working directly with employers to create job opportunities for individuals with autism, you will provide support throughout the employment journey, from providing awareness training to employers to direct support within a work setting. You’ll support each individual in their employment journey and break down the barriers that present along the way. About You
- A full and valid UK driving licence with own vehicle to travel
- Experience of directly supporting adults with autism
- The ability to network and build effective relationships
- The ability to work and succeed in a target driven environment
- Exceptional and adaptable communication skills
- The ability to plan, prioritise and problem solve with minimal support
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach to work
- Supported Employment Diploma Level 3 or Equivalent (desirable)
