As an Older People Support Worker, you will join a dedicated team offering specialist, person‑centred support to individuals with decreased mobility, or individuals living with Alzheimer's, dementia and Parkinson's. You'll be delivering a range of tailored activities focused on maintaining independence and encouraging social interaction through both on‑site and community‑based activities.

To be considered as an Older People Support Worker, you need:

  • To be passionate about providing a high level of care and support to older people
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills

  • Basic IT skills
  • A proactive approach to work and be able to work on your own initiative
  • To be able to work flexibly depending on the needs of the work environment

Previous experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. Travel required across Essex to attend training, work at other centres, and in the community.
