The Council is seeking someone with considerable financial experience to join Epping Town Council as the Senior Finance Officer, to support the Town Clerk/RFO with the financial management of the Council.
Office located in Epping Hall, St Johns Road.
Responsibilities- Administer payroll
- Process VAT returns
- Manage pension administration
- Prepare material for year end
- Handle credit control
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Make payments
- Produce reports for Council
- Support Council’s Finance & Bookings Officer
- Excellent knowledge of financial management
- Proficiency with SAGE Payroll
- Ability to manage key tasks efficiently within strict deadlines
- Experience working in a small, friendly team environment (preferred)
The post is one day per week (7.25 hours), Wednesday, 8.45am to 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.
