We are a fast growing family-run Pest Control company, based on the Shotley peninsula between Ipswich and Manningtree. Delivering a wide range of Pest Control Services to domestic and commercial premises, we pride ourselves on our professional and customer focused delivery, whilst maintaining that personal touch.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a highly proficient Operations Team Leader to assist in the day to day running of a busy pest control business. We are seeking an individual with a proactive and organised approach who can effectively communicate with both customers and colleagues and be the lead in a small team. If you have current Pest Control field experience, and are looking for a change of career direction this role could also be suitable for you and we are open to candidates with the relevant skill set that may wish to make this move.
The role includes:
- Processing customer enquiries and orders by phone and online, for new and existing customers.
- Setting up new Client Accounts on our dedicated Software.
- Logistics and route planning - allocating and scheduling of Technicians’ daily appointments.
- Liaising with Technicians on a regular basis and working together to deliver a first class service.
- Dealing with existing Client queries and concerns.
- General office duties to ensure the overall smooth running of operations.
- Using our dedicated software ServiceM8 for day to day activities (Training will be provided).
About you
- Excellent Customer Service & Organisational Skills
- Logical and confident decision maker
- Enjoy fast paced environments whilst remaining calm under pressure
- Good Sense of humour
- Professional telephone manner
- Experience of using ServiceM8 or other similar scheduling software (desirable, but training will be provided)
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling confident communication with individuals at all levels. Excellent written and verbal English.
- Confident with using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Experience of Pest Control industry would be an advantage, although not essential.
To be successful in this role, you will need to quickly acquire a good understanding of the business and apply this knowledge to deal efficiently and professionally with a wide range of queries and tasks. On the job training will be provided to facilitate this.
