We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our busy in-house catering team here at Blenheim Primary School.

Contract: 10 hours per week, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Part-time, term time only (plus inset days).

Salary: Level 2 FTE £25,185 per annum. Actual annual salary £5,900 (£13.05 per hour). Start date: ASAP.

Duties:

  • Assist with food preparation.
  • Cook and serve meals and snacks as required.
  • Carry out general cleaning tasks within the kitchen and dining areas.

A commitment to a high standard of hygiene and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. An understanding of food hygiene is required (training can be provided), and the ability to adhere to health and safety regulations.
