Graduate EMEA FP&A Analyst - Kidlington, OX5 1HX
We are currently looking for an EMEA FP&A Analyst to join our regional EMEA FP&A team.
Reporting to the EMEA FP&A Manager, the Graduate EMEA FP&A Analyst is responsible for the business partnering of several sites throughout Europe and liaising with the regional FP&A team to ensure a consistent message is delivered to Top Management.
The role is responsible for the daily reporting tasks within the EMEA FP&A Team as well as month-end and periodic forecast & budgeting ones, supporting the team to deliver high quality insights and meet corporate deadlines.
Typical Responsibilities
- Act as a Business Partner to Stakeholders for a few businesses within the Sub-Regional perimeter, including supporting the preparation and evaluation of quarterly forecasts (consolidated for the region and supporting countries with smaller finance teams).
- Build relationships and understand the commercial aspects of the business to become the key finance point of contact for European businesses.
- Assist in preparation of the consolidated regional annual budget, including the finalisation, submission, and reporting requirements.
- Provide insight into sales and cost performance and identify key variances to plans and opportunities to drive improvement.
- Provide support to the FP&A team with ad-hoc projects and analysis, as and when required to ensure the business makes the correct, commercial decisions.
- Take ownership of the DDS (Daily Sales Report) report as well as few other month end reports
- Prepare analysis of the monthly results including P&L, working capital, headcount and capex.
- Support reporting standardisation within perimeter.
- Provide support to the FP&A with ad-hoc projects and analysis, as and when required to ensure the business makes the correct, commercial decisions.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of financial statements (P&L and balance Sheet)
- Experience of working in fast paced, dynamic environments.
- Advanced Excel skills to enable manipulation of multiple data sources to deliver detailed analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics.
- To work as part of a larger team and at times be prepared to take on work outside of the role as required helping the team meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Previous experience in a finance position. (Desirable)
