Machine Operative

As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for the setting and operating of mechanical and computer-operated equipment within a busy, fast paced environment, reporting to the departmental supervisor. You will be required to use a variety of tools whilst following safety guidelines and regulations. This role will be temporary to permanent for the right person.

We are looking for someone who has experience in setting up machines and/or has worked in an assembly background.

Main duties include:

• Control and adjust authorised equipment to ensure product complies with business quality requirements

• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of authorised equipment. Troubleshooting production issues, stoppages and errors

• Perform routine maintenance where authorised

• Be able to work as part of a team to meet company production targets and deadlines

• Follow standard operating procedures and health & safety requirements

• Demonstrate an awareness of production order requirement parameters to achieve delivery times and customer requirements

• Demonstrate initiative and flexibility

• Ability to react quickly when problems arise

• Monitor and record equipment output

Hours:

Days and Afters rotation – Monday to Friday 05:45 to 14:00 and Monday To Thursday 13:45 till 22:00 and then 13:15 till 22:00pm Friday.
