Essential Workforce is recruiting experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Drivers for ongoing general haulage work with established transport companies in and around Worcester.
This is an ideal opportunity for reliable, professional drivers seeking consistent daytime shifts, competitive rates of pay, and regular agency work week in, week out, all year round.
Pay & Working Pattern
- PAYE: £800 per week
- LTD: £1,000 per week (Where allowed)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Contract: Regular, ongoing year-round work with weekly pay
The Role
- Operating Class 1 (C+E) curtain-sided vehicles on general haulage assignments
- Delivering and collecting goods across customer sites, RDCs, and depots
- Ensuring all loads are safely and securely strapped
- Completing daily vehicle walkaround checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
- Complying strictly with drivers' hours, digital tachograph, and UK road transport regulations
- Maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach at all times
- Flexibility to cover alternative driving duties if Class 1 shifts are ever unavailable
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 xgikmsk (C+E) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences (no DR, DD, CD, or IN endorsements)
- Solid knowledge of UK driving regulations and WTD rules
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible work ethic
