Essential Workforce are currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 Night Driver for a permanent position with one of our established clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Class 1 driver looking for the security of a permanent role, guaranteed hours and regular night work.
The Role
- You will be responsible for trunking from depot to depot using a curtainsided vehicle.
- The position is primarily driving based, but you will also be expected to maintain high professional standards throughout your shift.
- Your duties will include:
- Depot-to-depot trunking
- Driving a Class 1 curtainsided vehicle
- Carrying out all required vehicle checks
- Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
- Ensuring loads and the vehicle are safe and secure
- Communicating effectively with depot and transport teams
- Working in accordance with all relevant drivers' hours and road transport legislation
Hours & Pay
- £17.95 per hour night rate
- £18.95 per hour overtime rate
