Role: Senior Estimator – Residential Location: Surrey Salary: >£70k Position: Full time, permanent position Essential Site Solutions are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our well-established New Build and refurbishment client in the Surrey area. The Senior Estimator will need to: * Attend site visits as required, * Produce tenders from drawings/specifications/bill of quantities for both negotiated and competitive tenders. * Send out enquiries out to suppliers and subcontractors, * Provide professional advice and build positive relationship with each client. * Commercially aware, able to work on multiple quotes simultaneously and at a fast pace. Qualifications and Experience needed for the Estimator: * Preferably a degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or similar. * Proficient in all Microsoft packages, excel, word, outlook etc. * Ideally can use MS Project for tender programming. * Ideally has experience of an estimating software package. * Ideally has experience of take-off software.
