A position has become available for a full-time Sheet Metal Fabricator for a prototype engineering company based in LGC, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will work basic hour of 37.5 per week, 7.30am 4.00pm Monday Thursday, 7.30am 1.00pm Friday. Salary will up to £19.80 per hour + overtime @ 1.5 available on a regular basis. Experience and Person Requirements Solid background of working as a Sheet Metal Fabricator Able to read technical drawings Good grasp of basic numeracy Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills Ability to work under pressure when meeting deadlines Strong team player Physically fit Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the company and team members Ability to operate different tools, and troubleshoot equipment problems Role Responsibilities Working within our busy Sheet Metal department you will have experience of operating laser cutting machines, press brakes, turret machines Carrying out final assembly of our product ensuring that the items are finished according to the customers specification.
