Great opportunity for a local business in Stevenage. We are looking to recruit a Trainee Quality Inspector who will shadow the current Quality Inspector, learning from the experienced team around you. With the company growing, this role would suit a person who seeks an established company with long-term career prospects. This role is available with an immediate start with on-the-job training for the right person.
Role requirements:
- Ensuring that materials and products meet or exceed the company's quality requirements
- Process product at a rate appropriate to meet production requirements
- Record all defects detected onto the Quality Database and record the defects attributed to assembly staff on an Inspection record list held with the position
- Report material problems to ensure that components and materials conform to the correct specifications
