Key responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day operations in a hands-on technical environment • Lead and support workshop personnel • Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the business • Maintain cleanliness, organisation and professionalism across the workshop • Build and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships • Assist with staffing and resourcing decisions • Represent the company professionally at all times • Carry out additional duties as required to support the wider team Requirements • HGV experience is essential • Practical experience in a technical or mechanical workshop setting • Confident working with various materials and tools • Understanding of mechanical systems and sector-specific components • Welding and electrical knowledge is a bonus • Effective communication and leadership skills • Motivation to progress within the company • KPIs and goals will be introduced post-probation Benefits • Company phone and laptop • Pension scheme • Regular performance reviews • Company vehicle post-probation • Salary review post-probation Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire Salary: £42,000 per annum Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–16:30 Contract type: Permanent
