Due to continued growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a Parts Sales Manager to join a well-established and internationally recognised business based in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a long-standing workforce and a global presence. This is a hands-on management position where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department whilst supporting and developing your team.

Key responsibilities of a Sales Manager include:
- Managing spare parts procurement, stock control and inventory accuracy
- Overseeing parts sales, customer enquiries, quotations, returns and invoicing
- Ensuring efficient distribution and timely delivery of spare parts to customers
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
- Leading, motivating and developing the Parts Team
- Managing and supporting marketing initiatives including sales mailshots and social media campaigns
- Working with approximately 35-40 inbound enquiries per day across the team, alongside proactive outbound business development activity
- Monitoring departmental KPIs, reporting, pricing and promotions
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Collaborating with internal departments to improve operational efficiency
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience within a Parts Manager, Parts Supervisor or Senior Parts Advisor position
- At least 5 years’ experience within the automotive, construction or related sectors
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- The confidence to take ownership, make decisions and lead from the front
- A proactive approach and the ability to work using your own initiative
