We are currently working alongside a leading manufacturer of glass units. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join the team as Window and Door Production Operatives. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of manufacturing windows and doors, from beading and glazing to assembly and packing.

Duties:

  • Fit and secure beading around windows and doors.
  • Install glass panes and seal them into the frames.
  • Inspect glass and materials for quality before use.
  • Assemble window and door units, adding handles, locks, and hinges.
  • Ensure all parts are properly aligned and securely fitted.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Report and fix any defects or issues.
  • Pack completed products safely for delivery.
  • Label and prepare items for dispatch.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly role
  • Full training will be provided for the right person
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Good physical fitness for manual handling and lifting.
  • Ability to work well in a team and meet production targets.
