Looking for local production work with the opportunity to gain permanent employment? A busy and growing manufacturing business in Kirkby-in-Ashfield are looking for Production Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

In this Production Operative role you will be working with metal products - jet washing, preparing and hanging them ready for treatment and processing. If you have previously worked in a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative or similar role this would be beneficial, however if you have a strong work ethic with a desire to develop we'd love to hear from you!

Rotating Shifts: 6am - 2:30pm / 2pm - 10:30pm / 10pm - 6:30am

Pay: £12.71ph (days), £13.34ph (afters), £14.59ph (nights)

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Duties of a Production Operative Include:

  • Jet washing metal products prior to processing
  • Ensuring products are clean and prepared for refurbishment
  • Working outside under a covered canopy area
  • Handling and preparing metal products
  • Hanging metal items onto hooks and frames ready for treatment and processing
  • Working within a busy engineering/manufacturing environment
