Position: HGV Class 1 & 2 Tramper Driver

Location: Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire.

Type: Permanent, Full Time.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts, up to 50 hours per week.

Compensation:

  • Basic salary up to £46,800 per annum.
  • Meal allowance: £19.80 per night out.
  • Sunday set off pay: £70.00.
  • Earnings up to £1,000 per week.

Hours:

Monday-Friday shifts. Day shifts; may include tramping and variable hours.

Duties:

  • Majority of deliveries to building sites in London; also long-distance and overnight stops.
  • Tramping the whole week.
  • Daily vehicle checks.
  • Ensuring load is correctly placed and secured.
  • Loading/unloading using a Moffett or electric pump truck as required.
  • Acquire signature on Proof of Delivery Note.
  • Maintain logbook with details of trips and rest breaks.
  • Drive across the country as required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 1 year of truck-driving experience.
  • Professional with excellent customer service attitude.
  • Driving licence C.
  • Hold Moffett licence or willing to train.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Strong work ethic and confident ability.
  • Up to 50 hours per week driving in London; flexible day shifts.
