Griffith Foods, a leading manufacturer of sauces, seasonings, and food ingredients, is expanding their production team in Somercotes (DE55). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that has been running since 1919, operating in over 30 countries, with strong values around sustainability, community, and diversity.
This food production operative role offers consistent shifts, excellent overtime, and long-term career potential.
Pay rates:
- Days: £12.21 per hour
- Nights: £12.30 per hour
- After 12 weeks: £14.47 per hour
- Overtime: Up to £24.06 per hour
Shifts:
- 4 on, 4 off rotation
- 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am

Your duties as a Mixing Operative:
- Mix ingredients for sauces and seasonings following recipes
- Operate production lines safely and efficiently

- Perform quality checks throughout the process
- Maintain cleanliness and report any machinery issues
What we’re looking for:
- Previous production experience is helpful but not essential
- A great attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet during shifts
