General Labourer

• Accurately package products into the appropriate containers or boxes, palletising, and strapping/ wrapping product to customer’s specifications. Ensuring they are secure and ready for shipment

• Loading and unloading materials

• Apply correct labels to finished packages, ensuring they are correctly identified.

• Bagging and drumming duties to cover busy periods and absences.

• Clean and maintain the plant and yard areas, including sweeping floors, removing waste, and ensuring that all areas are free from obstructions and hazards.

• Ensure that waste is disposed of properly and that recyclable materials are separated in accordance with company procedures.

• Inspect packaged products for defects, ensuring they meet the required quality standards.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to meet production and shipping goals.

• Experience within a similar role would be desired

• Candidate must be local or drive due to location

• Must have experience on driving counterbalance FLT.

• Previous labouring experience

• Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role.

• Fantastic eye for detail

• Positive ‘can do’ attitude towards learning new skills

• Punctual and reliable

• £11.44 per hour

• Monday to Thursday 6:30am-2:30pm , Friday 12:30 Finish

• No weekends

• Overtime available

• Temp to Perm
