We are currently recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a well‑established company based in Alfreton. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for long‑term work with consistent hours and a supportive working environment.
Successful applicants will be responsible for operating a Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring the smooth movement of stock across the site. Key Responsibilities- FLT operation — Safely operate a Counterbalance forklift truck in line with site procedures
- Loading & unloading — Move pallets, load/unload vehicles, and transport goods across the warehouse
- Stock handling — Support stock movements and replenishment
- Health & safety — Maintain a safe working environment and follow all site safety rules
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (in‑house or external accepted)
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance truck
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
- Flexibility to work across different shift patterns
- Good communication and reliability
