Overview

Role Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Panel Wirer to join a multi-national engineering company in Sheffield (S20). The business designs and manufactures both standard and bespoke rail power systems, for use trackside and on-vehicle. With only one position available, early application is advised to avoid disappointment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assembling and wiring electrical panels in line with schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Conducting panel testing and fault-finding to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and targets.
  • Adhering strictly to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter, or in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
  • 18th Edition qualification required.
