We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Health & Safety Officer to join the team, working closely alongside the H&S Manager and wider leadership group. This role will have a strong operational focus, supporting day-to-day health and safety activities across site while helping to drive a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of health & safety objectives with the H&S Manager
- Work closely with site leadership and operational teams to implement and maintain action plans
- Monitor H&S performance, tracking KPIs and recommending improvements where required
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of safety and environmental management systems
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards
- Review and update risk assessments, ensuring they remain accurate
