My client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Tech Project Manager with specific experience of managing both Software Development and IT Infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing the full range of Tech and Business Change project activities to deliver in accordance with the project delivery lifecycle, using both Agile and more traditional project management approaches.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct, manage and co-ordinate end-to-end project delivery for Business Change and IT Infrastructure projects.
- Delivery of a large, complex software development/integration solutions (ERP, CRM, similar) with 3rd party partners and business stakeholders.
- Manage the implementation of IT Infrastructure management solutions across the enterprise.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business aims and Change impacts.
- Manage and mitigate key project risks and issues via extensive project planning, good governance, RAID logs, interdependencies, stage gates etc.
- Lead matrix teams to deliver projects successfully whilst maintaining project governance and standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Substantial experience in tangible, successful delivery of Business Change and IT projects.
- Demonstrable and extensive experience in Project Management of end-to-end software development/integration projects (ERP, CRM, similar).
- Clear expertise in managing modern IT Infrastructure projects (Cloud, Windows, EUC, Data Centres, Network Security, Cyber Security).
- A strong portfolio of project management skills including project planning/scoping, end-to-end delivery and strong governance.
- A project management certification (MSP, Agile, PMI, Prince 2 or similar) and strong knowledge of ITIL would be ideal.
Your good practice approach must include a knowledge of standards, processes, procedures, good governance, compliance and a philosophy of continuous improvement. As well as a delivery focus, you should also adopt a collaborative, flexible approach.
