Skilled Bench Joiner

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Flexibility required during peak times)

Contract Type: Permanent

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Skilled Bench Joiner to join our business in Burton upon Trent on a permanent basis. The starting salary is up to £42000 per annum and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Flexibility required during peak times).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Craft and assemble bespoke wooden products to precise specifications.
  • Read and work from technical drawings, plans, and measurements.
  • Operate a range of woodworking machinery and tools with confidence.
  • Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and project goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Experience and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a skilled Bench Joiner (ideally with 5 years in the field).
  • A meticulous approach and a commitment to excellent craftsmanship.
  • Experience working with a variety of materials, including hardwoods and softwoods.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery.
  • The ability to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings.
