Cook needed in Bedford, £13.47ph PAYE - Reference: 372421

Part time, 5 hours a day. Community meals is a year-round service, including all weekends and Christmas and Bank holidays.

Daily Shift hours will be: 7.00-12.00. Possible weekend cover if required (Sunday allowance will be provided).

Essential:

  • MUST be comfortable and confident to work alone in the kitchen
  • Key holder responsibilities
  • All standard records to be kept up to date
  • Report any defects, shortfall of stock etc.
  • Knowledge of allergens essential
  • Food Hygiene cert level 2
  • Computer skills
  • Candidates must have knowledge/ability to follow picking lists

In order to produce approximately 190 meals per day for our elderly customers in the community. Distributing meals to 7 drivers – ensuring correct meals are dispatched. Drivers leave site at 11.15 so meals need to be portioned and ready for drivers by 11.00am.
