Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out environmental cleansing, horticultural, and grounds maintenance work, including emptying bins, litter removal, weed control, waste disposal, winter salting, chemical control, verge upkeep, and sports pitch maintenance.
- Operate, secure, and check powered tools and equipment, reporting defects and maintenance issues.
- Ensure the security of vehicles, buildings, and resources, including vehicle checks.
- Provide directions and assistance to the public.
- Report accidents, property damage, street defects, and assist with enviro-crime enforcement.
- Assist with campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Supervise trainees, seasonal employees, or volunteers.
- Complete record sheets and forms daily and weekly.
- Follow safe systems of work and health and safety policies.
- Perform all tasks within specified timescales and standards.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
