Overview
A Housing Needs Officer (Hybrid) is needed in Warrington, Β£18.24ph PAYE. The role requires 2 days in the office per week in Warrington.
Responsibilities
- Assess statutory homelessness applications, deliver proactive prevention and relief services, and manage emergency and temporary accommodation to ensure compliance with legislation such as the Housing Act 1996 and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
- Maintain strong case management skills, partner with statutory and voluntary agencies, and negotiate sustainable housing solutions while minimising reliance on temporary accommodation.
- Create Personalised Housing Plans, support out-of-hours homelessness services, ensure legal compliance, and contribute to service improvement.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, legal knowledge, and IT proficiency, with a focus on cost-effective delivery and continuing professional development.
Contract & Working Pattern
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis. The role requires 2 days per week in Warrington.
