Traffic Regulation Order Engineer needed in Coventry
This is a temporary role and the rate is £17.47ph PAYE.
The reference number is: RQ1754792.
The successful candidate will provide dedicated Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) resource to deliver the Local Network Improvement Programme (LNIP) and externally funded capital transport schemes in the current financial year.
A significant number of highway improvement schemes require statutory Traffic Regulation Orders, including speed limit changes, parking controls and movement restrictions.
These Orders are critical to enabling schemes to proceed to construction and must be delivered within funding timescales.
Without additional specialist resource, there is a significant risk of delays to statutory processes, impacting programme delivery and potentially jeopardising external funding.
The role ensures compliance with legislation, supports timely delivery of projects and as the requirement is linked to a time-limited capital programme, a fixed-term commission represents the most appropriate and cost-effective solution.
