Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and determine complex planning and Listed Building applications
  • Prepare clear, well‑reasoned reports for delegated and committee decisions
  • Assess and respond to statutory and non‑statutory consultations and notifications
  • Draft, negotiate and manage Legal Agreements in accordance with policy and legislation
  • Provide professional planning advice for enforcement matters in collaboration with the Principal Enforcement Officer
  • Undertake site visits and engage effectively with applicants, agents, members and the public
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement and best practice
