Key Responsibilities:
- Process and determine complex planning and Listed Building applications
- Prepare clear, well‑reasoned reports for delegated and committee decisions
- Assess and respond to statutory and non‑statutory consultations and notifications
- Draft, negotiate and manage Legal Agreements in accordance with policy and legislation
- Provide professional planning advice for enforcement matters in collaboration with the Principal Enforcement Officer
- Undertake site visits and engage effectively with applicants, agents, members and the public
- Contribute to continuous service improvement and best practice
