Selective Licensing Assistant Administrator needed in Stockton-On-Tees, £14.82ph PAYE - Reference: 5295994.
This role involves administering and delivering the Tenant Referencing Scheme and other related selective licensing responsibilities as follows:
- Administer/deliver the Tenant Referencing Scheme.
- Process applications within the prescribed timescales and validate documentation for new applicants, issue licences and any associated documents.
- Complete all administrative activities for the selective licensing process in accordance with Part 3 of the Housing Act 2004, e.g., check applications, verify ownership, confirm and process fee payments, update FLARE database.
- Provide specialist advice and information to homeowners, landlords, managing agents and tenants on selective licensing for routine and complex issues to ensure compliance.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure a measured, connected and coordinated approach within the community.
- Work with team colleagues to ensure tenants’ rights are known, understood and respected.
- Contribute to the provision of training needs for landlords and team members.
- Assist with visits/inspections of properties in relation to selective licensing applications and related issues on condition or management of the property.
- Assist with compliance inspections in licensed properties, identify issues to refer to relevant internal/external agencies and write to licence holders confirming details.
- Contribute to and report on monitoring and evaluation requirements associated with the Selective Licensing project.
This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
