Overview: Chef/Head of kitchen Felixstowe. Head of kitchen role - prepping and cooking meals, weekly orders, stocktake at end of month. They produce hot and cold lunches, approx. 110 hot and 50 cold.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepping and cooking meals for hot and cold lunches (approx. 110 hot and 50 cold).
  • Manage weekly orders and conduct month-end stocktake.
  • Supervise one Food Service Assistant who prepares cold packed lunches (not a cook).

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check and Food Safety certificate required.
  • Availability Monday-Friday 7:30–14:00 (32.5 hours per week).

Employment Details:

  • Pay rate: £13.27 per hour.
  • This is a full-time role on a temporary basis.
