Senior Skilled Vehicle & Plant Technician needed in Stoke on Trent, £25ph PAYE - Reference: 5249725. 37 pw so yes, it is temp to perm HGV technician that can also work on various other vehicles should the need arise.
Working pattern:
- 06:30-14:30 Mon-Thurs
- 06:30-14:00 Friday
- 08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs
- 08:00-15:30 Friday
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in vehicle or plant maintenance in a multidisciplinary workshop environment.
- Demonstrate some experience of supervising, motivating and controlling employees within the post holder's remit.
- Hold a relevant qualification in Plant Motor Vehicle Technology equivalent to NVQ level 2/3.
- Hold a VOSA recognised Certificate for Large Goods Vehicle Safety/Roadworthiness Inspections.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of M.O.T. Testing, standards and procedures and be a qualified MOT inspector or actively in training as an MOT Inspector.
- Demonstrate a technical knowledge of vehicle/plant and equipment design and specifications.
- Must have an LGV category C Driving Licence and ideally category CE Driving Licence.
Role type: This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
