Highways Engineer needed in Stockport. This is a temporary contract initially paying £23.37ph PAYE.

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will provide expert highways and transportation advice on planning applications, with a particular focus on large-scale residential schemes, retail developments, and complex mixed-use proposals.
  • They will assess and negotiate Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, and technical highway drawings and advise on junction design, access arrangements, parking, servicing, active travel, and highway safety.
