Responsibilities:
- Deal with planning applications including the critical appraisal and review of reports for the discharge of planning conditions.
- Inspect premises and enforce statutory provisions, ensure compliance with the authority’s statutory obligations, and provide guidance, information and training to aid compliance.
- Prepare, monitor and authorise legal and other documentation, and instigate legal proceedings to ensure compliance with the authority’s statutory obligations.
