Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of housing litigation matters, with a focus on disrepair claims.
- Provide legal advice to officers and stakeholders.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, defences, and other legal documents.
- Conduct negotiations and manage settlement discussions.
- Represent clients at court hearings and case management conferences.
- Instruct and liaise with counsel, experts, and surveyors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, case law, and Civil Procedure Rules.
