The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the implementation of a new e-procurement and contract management system, ensuring contract and supplier data is accurate, complete and ready for migration. They will have experience working in a contracts, procurement, finance or similar administrative environment, with strong attention to detail and confidence managing large datasets.
The role requires excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of filters, lookups and pivot tables, alongside experience maintaining records and producing reports to support business operations. The successful candidate will be capable of cleansing, validating and reconciling data, supporting testing activities, maintaining logs and registers, and ensuring information is correctly retained and managed within SharePoint environments. They will possess strong organisational and communication skills, be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines, and confidently explain processes and systems to colleagues with varying levels of technical knowledge. Experience with contract management systems, procurement systems, data migration projects, user acceptance testing, Unit4 Business World, SharePoint or Power BI would be advantageous, as would knowledge of public sector procurement practices and legislation.
