Senior Housing Officer (Hybrid) needed in Tavistock, £18.26ph PAYE – Reference: Seeking an officer ideally with residential lettings and property management background for a short term contract.
To actively contribute to the effective management of a broad portfolio of client owned property and property that is managed on behalf of private landlords. To be responsible for all aspects of property management including handling enquiries, conducting viewings and inspections, processing applications for ready to let properties, preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The aim is to secure suitable tenants for properties while providing excellent customer service to both landlords and tenants.
Housing Advice and Homelessness has never been more challenging or exciting. The recent declaration of a Housing Crisis in both South Hams and West Devon has resulted in a renewed focus and drive to find creative and innovative solutions to housing need across our area. In response to the increased demand for accommodation and housing services, we have rapidly expanded our temporary housing property portfolio and we now need a dynamic well organised accommodation officer to manage these properties.
Working in accordance with best practice, ensuring efficient allocation, and management of accommodation for the prevention and relief of homelessness in accordance with statutory requirements and powers. As a team we pride ourselves on finding creative solutions to often very complex problems and we encourage innovation in all areas of our work.
If you think you have the drive, the enthusiasm and the people skills to achieve the best outcomes for this customer group; then we will provide the support, the training and the team for you to achieve this. You will need to be prepared to travel. We can offer genuine flexible working, with a significant proportion of the role to be homeworking. This is a full time role on a temporary basis.
